Import from Shireburn Indigo
Bring people, leave entitlements and leave taken in from Shireburn Indigo's Excel exports. Indigo's column names match themselves; you check every change first.
Indigo exports its grids to Excel with a column picker. Squadra HR knows Indigo’s column names, so the files match themselves.
Export from Indigo
Section titled “Export from Indigo”- Employees: HR > Main > Employees > Export File. Pick the columns: Code, Surname, Name, IDNumber, DateOfBirth, Sex, SocialSecurityNumber, TaxRegistrationNumber, TaxProfileCode, EmploymentTypeCode, EmploymentDate, TerminationDate, ProbationEndDate, DepartmentCode, LocationCode, OccupationDescription, ReportingToEmployeeCode, BasicPay, IBAN, the address and phone columns, PersonalEmail and WorkEmail. Save the column choice as a template for next time.
- Leave balances (optional): an export with EmployeeCode, LeaveTypeDescription and LeaveBalance.
- Leave taken (optional): an export with EmployeeCode, LeaveTypeCode, DateTimeFrom, DateTimeTo and TotalHours.
Import
Section titled “Import”Open Company > Import data, choose Shireburn Indigo and upload the files together, the employee export first. Check the matches, choose which of your leave types each Indigo type becomes (VAC and SFP codes are recognised), then review.
People are linked across the files by their Indigo code. A manager is found by ReportingToEmployeeCode.
Shireburn also has a documented API. Using it needs a developer subscription with Shireburn and an API user in your Indigo, and Shireburn may need to authorise the key, so the import starts from the exports.
